“Saint Mary” braced for battle

  The Ministry of the Interior has sent the first platoon of a recently legalized battalion to a training camp. A solemn ceremony, in which the clergy, MPs, and police officials took part, was held on St. Sophia Square. “Saint Mary” was formed on the basis of the Shakhtarsk and Azov battalions. Its soldiers are former members of the Maidan’s Jesus Christ Sotnia, who have already taken part in the counter-terrorism operation. Dmytro Linko, a Radical Party Member of Parliament, is the battalion commander.
