The event will seek to bring together the entire cycling community of the city; it will last for two days, May 16-17, located mostly in the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Park of Culture and Rest, where a cycling park will be created; it will combine sport, music, cooking, and art, all united in appreciation of the cycling movement. The project, the first of its kind in Ukraine, will be organized jointly by the park of culture’s administration, VeloClubRovers NGO and FrankyKustomFamily cycling club.
The festival will open with a bicycle street race. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get their bicycles repaired and rent a bike. Fans of unusual bicycles will be welcome at a bicycle exhibition, to be held by FrankyKustomFamily.
Another attraction of the cycling park for its visitors will be morning bicycle-borne yoga session, while the youngest cyclists will get a special zone allocated to them. Another feature of the event will be real-time assembly of a custom-made bike by FrankyKustomFamily. The festival will also offer a cycling market, a thematic music program, and a fast food zone.
The cycling selfie competition has already started, and its participants can win a cycling trip for two people, a gift certificate from a bicycle store, or a custom-made bell for their bicycle.
