The concert, consisting of works by the famous Kyiv composer, will be held at the Master Class House of Education and Culture. The exquisiteness of musical emotions contained in our contemporary’s music calls for a subtle philosophic perception.

Viktoria Poliova is a leading Ukrainian composer, whose works are frequently performed not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. In her music, she favors the so-called “sacred minimalism.” Audiences are captivated by sincerity of the maestro’s works.

The first concert of the coming forum is called “The Garden of Earthly Delights,” i-pro.kiev.ua reports. In the program of the concert: Poverty (2012-16), a version for vocal ensemble and chamber orchestra; Parhelia/Four Suns (2014-16), which will premiere at the festival, is a piece for soprano and chamber orchestra to the lyrics by Arnold Spescha; Lulling the Earth (2016), also premiering at the event, is a chamber symphony for vocal ensemble, string orchestra, and ethnic percussion instruments to the lyrics by Aztlanquill.

The concert will be performed by the Kyivska Kamerata National Ensemble of Soloists (conducted by Valerii Matiukhin), the Nika Vocal Ensemble (conducted by Oksana Nikitiuk), and soprano soloist Olena Arbuzova.
