The event will take place as a part of the 10th International Festival of Arts “Dialogues of Cultures” from the series of “Yevhenia Basalaieva Elite Chamber Music Soiree.” The pianist named her concert the “Chorale of Immortality.” According to Basalaieva the solemn event is dedicated to not only the Day of Holodomor Victims, but also to the Day of Dignity and Freedom. The foyer of the Philharmonic Society will display the exhibition entitled “Dedication to Ukraine,” which will feature the art of famous contemporary Ukrainian artists: Valerii Franchuk (Holodomor), Andrii Kulahin, Oleksandr Bilozir, Valentyna Davydenko, Iryna Tretiak.

Yevhenia Basalaieva, author of this socio-cultural project, is a distinguished pianist, president of the Kyiv Classic Charitable Fund for Art and Culture, artistic director of the International Festival of Arts “Dialogues of Cultures.” She cooperates with leading Ukrainian collectives, musicians, and actors. The concert will feature the “Silent Prayer”– the pieces by Ukrainian composers: Lysenko, Siechkin, Yashchenko, Shukh, Huba, Hodziatsky, and Nazarov. The next in the program is the Slavic Concerto for piano and orchestra by Liatoshynsky; art of Kornilevych will also be performed: the “Epitaph” and the “Call of Light” from the Symphony of Time for piano, organ, symphony orchestra, electronic groups, and choir of boys (the latter will be a world premiere).
