Golden Dolphin Award goes to Makiivka

Skadovsk hosted the 12th all-Ukrainian charitable children’s festival Black Sea Games

The festival comprised competitions of vocalists and dance companies (about 1,200 children showed their multifaceted artistic talents), and a lot events for children, including a carnival, a kite show, special evening show programs, and a contest of drawings and sand sculptures.

Children could also play all kinds of popular table games on a playground called Games Gather Friends.

The 11-year-old Tetiana Sidiakina from Makiivka won the festival’s Grand Prix in the vocal competition, while a similar prize in the choreographic contest went to Anzhelika, a Kharkiv-based theater of variety and sport dancing.

Among the Skadovsk guests were Gaetana, Zlata Ohnievych, Tetiana Shyrko, as well as the Black Sea Games graduates Ivan Berezovsky, Nadia Dorofieieva, Kyrylo Turychenko, and the duo Olena Omargalieva and Tamerlan.

The festival MCs were Dmytro Burundukov and a young movie star Sonia Stetsenko of the serial In-Laws fame.
