The runner-up with a score of 4.75 points was the Song of the Sea, a lyrical animation legend by Irish director Tomm Moore. In third place came a Dutch film Bucha by Mark de Cloe, with a score of 4.64. The competition required the young participants to create their remakes of the films by Georges Melies, and the principal request was to use hidden paste-up. Great-granddaughter of Georges Melies, Marie Helene Leherissey, was the special guest of the forum. At the festival’s closing ceremony she presented the “Georges Melies Show” – a collection of films by the legendary director accompanied by live music and storytelling.
