The city’s first museum of the legendary bard, called the Vysotsky Gallery, opened on July 25, his memorial day.

The institution’s collection includes rare exhibits linked to Vysotsky.

Currently, its visitors can see the renewed photo exhibition “Vladimir Vysotsky.

Rare Photos by Arkady Gershman.” Photos from this series were used on envelopes of the Melodia-produced Vysotsky song records in the 1970s.

All photos come from a private collection.

The photo exhibition will run until January 20, 2015.
