The WBA welterweight world champion (up to 66.7 kg) Viacheslav Senchenko, represented by Union Boxing Promotion, is first in the WBA ranking, reports Champion. We remind our readers that Viacheslav defended his champion’s title last summer. Last year he was also awarded the title of the best European welterweight boxer at the 89th WBA congress in Nicaragua. Viacheslav has a record of 31 wins in 31 matches, 20 of which were won by KO.

As an amateur Senchenko became the bronze medalist of the European Championship for Juniors, the European Cup owner, silver medalist of Ukraine, bronze medalist of Ukraine Championship, bronze medalist of the international tournament Tammer, the two-time champion of Ukraine and participated in the Olympic Games in Sydney. As a professional boxer, Senchenko has won the WBC champion belt of the CIS and the Slavic countries, and the IBF intercontinental and international champion belts. He became the EBU European External champion for European countries that are not EU members and the WBA intercontinental champion.

Viacheslav’s coach is proud of his success. “We have started actively cooperating with the WBA,” reported the president of the company Union Boxing Promotion Yurii Ruban, “The fact that he takes serious places in the WBA best boxers rankings, indicates that we are on the right track and we are close to our goal.”
