All higher educational establishments of Ukraine are to create employment centers for students and graduates of higher educational institutions by January 1, 2011, reports Korespondent. It is stated in the resolution draft of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On measures increasing the employment rate among graduates of higher educational institutions.” A corresponding document is planned to be considered at the extraordinary governmental meeting on the further development of education on August 27. “The Ministry of Education will elaborate and approve the proposition about the employment centers, presupposing that the main task of such centers is providing demand and supply analysis of the job market, and establishing a cooperation with the employment ser-vices, enterprises, and organizations which can become potential employers for graduates and students,” claimed the coordinator of the initiative “Student’s protection” Andrii Chernykh. The employment centers will also inform students and graduates of higher educational institutions about vacancies which emerge on the job market. One must remember that in May 2010 the journal Korespondent, together with the SCM company, compiled a list of the best higher educational institutions according to employers. The list was headed by the Shevchenko Kyiv National University, the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, and the National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,” in that order.
