Residents of the capital of Bukovyna and visitors to Chernivtsi have joined the all-Ukrainian campaign “Ukraine Is One!” The campaign is already involving residents of Rivne, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Ternopil, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Mariupol, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky. The map came to Chernivtsi from Kirovohrad.
On leaving Chernivtsi, the embroidered map of Ukraine went to Odesa. Odesites continued to embroider the map near the Lviv Chocolate Workshop at 31 Derybasivska Street on October 8. The organizers hope that the “Ukraine Is One!” campaign will set a record in the category “Map of Ukraine Embroidered by Hand by the Largest Number of People.” Presentation of the embroidered map is scheduled for December 1, to be held in Independence Square in Kyiv; it will then be put on display at the Mystetsky Arsenal, and organizers plan to exhibit it at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s building as well.
