Youth Union “Faine Misto” and special task medical detachment “White Berets” set a specialized storehouse in Ternopil to receive medicaments and money donations that will be used to buy medicaments for the ATO soldiers. The volunteers have set a task to create individual first-aid kits based on the American military model.

“Above all, we want to make the first-aid kits for battalions Zbruch and Ternopil. In the long run we want to help others, too. We plan to provide the soldiers with first-aid equipment, as well as antiviral medicines, and blood stoppers. But these drugs are expensive. We will place lists of medications that are needed for the ATO soldiers in drug stores. According to the data we have at the moment they lack tourniquets. We are trying to arrange a production of tourniquets in Ternopol. At the front they also lack bandaging material,” a student of Ternopil State Medicine University, Faine misto activist Solomia Fediuk said.

The volunteers of the specialized storehouse will establish connection with Kyiv organizations. “For example, Euromaidan SOS. If we have necessary medicaments or they have an opportunity to buy some, we will send them the money, and they will deliver necessary medications to our soldiers in the east,” Solomia Fediuk says. Apart from that, Ternopil volunteers are trying to establish cooperation with pharmaceutical companies to be able to buy their medications by their prime cost. They will report on their progress on social media.
