Fairytale town made of honey cakes came to boisterous sweet life at Lviv’s Palace of Arts at 17 Copernicus Street.
The Christmas-themed citywide contest, calling on all to enter a wonderful country, redolent with the smells of cinnamon and vanilla, is held for the second time, encouraging the residents of Lviv to build their own nice miniature buildings from honey-flavored dough.
The contest, which doubles as an exhibition, will run through December 19. The results will be summed up on that day, and the winner will receive 1,500 hryvnias for their flour-and-honey fantasies.
The voting is going on right now. A ticket to the delicious exhibition costs five hryvnias, being simultaneously a ballot to use in the voting for the most creative dough house. A traditional Lviv spice cake is presented to every ticket holder.
