Germany marks the Day of Reunification

Yesterday Germany celebrated the Day of Unity, the anniversary of the country’s reunification. The main festive events took place in the former capital of Western Germany, Bonn, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is currently presiding in the Bundesrat, and subsequently is hosting the festivities.
