Ukraine was represented by Anna Rizatdinova, Viktoria Mazur, and the national group competitions team at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup event in Lisbon, which ended on March 20. Rizatdinova won Ukraine’s first medal in the finals with the hoop, scoring 18.600. Unfortunately, our gymnast made a serious mistake with the ball, scoring just 16.050, which left her unable to compete for the medals in this category, ukraine-rg.com.ua reports. However, the gymnast then concentrated on her task and won the clubs (18.600) and ribbon (18.500) competitions outright, leaving her rivals far behind: with her perfect, convincing performance, Rizatdinova won two gold medals! Our national team won four medals at this event: two gold and two silver ones! Their next competition is the Grand Prix tournament, to be held in Thiais, France on March 24-27.
