There have been reports that Director of the Ukrainian Section of Radio Liberty Roman Kupchynsky will not be readmitted to Kyiv, perhaps because of the station’s reportage of the cassette scandal. According to sources close to the station, nothing definite is as yet known, and journalists are awaiting any kind of confirmation, which is yet to be forthcoming.
