February 28 marked the end of a World Cup stage in Rhythmic Gymnastics, held in Espoo, Finland, which turned out to be very successful for our team.
In the finals, Ukraine was represented with a personal program of Anna Rizatdinova. According to ukraine-rg.com.ua, her performance with the hoop was top quality in terms of technique and emotion, and the judges simply had no other choice but to praise her with a fairly high mark: 18.550. But this was only the first medal won by the gymnast: she became third in exercises with the ball, got the silver medal for the exercises with clubs, and another gold one for the ribbon exercise. In the all-around, the Ukrainian athlete won the bronze medal with a final result of 73.250 points.
In group exercises the Ukrainian team won the third place twice – one for the five ribbons exercises, and one for six hoops and two clubs. So in total, our athletes bring home 7 medals!
