It was so fast – like a lightning. A series of three attacks and the opponent was on the floor. This is how Wladimir Klitschko’s victory over Jean-Marc Mormeck in Duesseldorf looked like. In the beginning of the fourth round in front of the 50,000 audience Klitschko won by technical knockout. This was his milestone 50th knockout. “It was my 60th fight in 15 years of professional career, but I am still hungry for wins,” said Klitschko after the fight in an interview with Sport Express. “Usually the fight is easier if training was difficult. I myself experienced that in a duel with Mormeck. From the very beginning I had complete control over the actions of my opponent and was a step ahead of him. Mormeck tried to fight in the style I expected from him: I knew that he would first focus on tight pressure. But at the same time Mormeck did not expect pressure from me,” said the Ukrainian boxer. Wladimir Klitschko’s next opponent will be the American boxer Tony Thompson. The fight will take place in summer.
