A copy of the statue created by Albin Polasek and formally unveiled in Prague, in 1928, then destroyed in 1941, during the Nazi occupation, has been ceremoniously unveiled in the capital city of the Czech Republic. President Wilson is portrayed as one of the signatories to the 1919 Treaty of Versailles that ended the First World War.
