Leonid Kuchma has ordered the dismissal of Yury Yekhanurov from the office of first deputy chairman of the Presidential Administration and chief of the cadres and regional cooperation general department. Interfax quotes the decree as saying that Mr. Yekhanurov was axed in connection with “being employed elsewhere.” Simultaneously Pres. Kuchma’s decree says Mr. Yekhanurov remains the chief executive’s high representative in charge of administrative reform, as well as first deputy chairman of the commission handling it.
