Rare Kobzar and multilingual Taras Shevchenko

Main reading room of the Research Library of Ivan Franko Lviv National University is hosting a one-book exhibition of the 1st edition of Taras Shevchenko’s Kobzar (1840). The event is timed to the 200th birth anniversary of our classic poet. The anniversary events also included review of book and documentary exhibitions held on the occasion and exhibition “The Multilingual Shevchenko.”
