They should not say that Ukrainians have nostalgia for the past. With time the Communists will come to understand that people voted not for them but for the security, solidity, for the hope and happiness of their children. Can we blame them for thinking that small apartments and empty store shelves mean happiness to them? Just think about that when you see young people in downtown Kyiv, on Maidan Nezalezhnosty (Independence Square) skating. They eat ice-cream, kiss each other, and laugh. They do not know the past that still has their grandparents on a leash. Of course, it's much better to be on a skateboard or roller-blades!
