Where there is no law, but every man does what is right in his own eyes, there is the least of real liberty

Strategy of Success

25 May, 2004 - 00:00

Vitaly and Volodymyr Klichko, children of a war pilot, grandchildren of a military officer, first wanted to enter the Suvorov Soviet Military College, but both were destined to become world-famous Ukrainian boxers. Both are officers in reserve and both are army-affiliated deep inside. At least this is what they said yesterday at the Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum in Kyiv. Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen MARCHUK, who had helped organized the meeting, told The Day: “These cadets and people their age will make up the basis of the Armed Forces sometime in 2015, after completing the military reform; and when, as I am firmly convinced, our army will be equipped with modern technologies and weapon systems... Strength, the ability to win battles must be enhanced by patriotism. The Klichko brothers are the best example; they have been made all kinds of prestigious offers, yet they remain Ukrainian nationals and invariably identify themselves with this country.”
