Clothes by the famous Ukrainian designer Lilia Pustovit will now be sold in one of the world’s most famous fashion stores. The brand L.P. by POUSTOVIT is already represented and, according to the author of the collection, actively sold in Milan’s boutique Spiga2, which belongs to the cult designer duet Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabana. This is the first multibrand store from Dolce&Gabana which was set up to support promising designers from around the world. It should be noted that the brand L.P. by POUSTOVIT is the only one from the countries of Eastern Europe and the CIS among the 21 collections selected to be represented this season in the boutique Spiga2. “Now Ukrainians can be proud not only of victories of the Klitschko brothers or, say, the violinist Dmytro Tkachenko, but also Ukrainian achievements in fashion,” the designer Lilia Pustovit told The Day. In her opinion, this event should make it clear for Ukrainians that here, in their homeland, quality and fashionable clothes are produced that are in demand in Europe. “I want more Ukrainians to buy fashionable clothes. Therefore we tried to make the price category of our second line — L.P. by POUSTOVIT — as affordable as possible. And this factor also played its role for foreign buyers,” says Lilia. However, Ukraine can not just be proud, but also make good profits thanks to the appearance of Poustovit clothes in the Italian boutique Dolce&Gabana. According to the Italian fashion manager, director for development of international relations of the Ukrainian Fashion Week Maurizio Aschero, the appearance of the brand L.P. by POUSTOVIT in one of the most modern stores in Italy and the world is an important event for Ukrainian fashion, since it is hardly known and discussed in the world. And people do not buy it because it is unknown, opines Aschero. According to him, the appearance of some brand in Spiga2 is a kind of signal for the world of fashion. “Lilia Pustovit got world recognition. The logic is simple: if it is sold in Milan, it will be sold everywhere,” says Aschero. The boutique Spiga2, having evaluated the quality and dynamics of clothes sale from L.P. by POUSTOVIT, already ordered the next collection of the brand. “We hope that clothes by Poustovit will be constantly represented in Spiga2. And then, step by step, the brand will appear in all the best fashion stores of the world,” Aschero shares his plans for the future.
