November 14: 1925. The League of Ukrainian Nationalists was founded in Podebrady (Czechoslovakia).

1939 . The Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR ratified the law On Western Ukraine’s Entering the USSR And Its Reunification With the Ukrainian SSR.

November 15: 1919. UNR State Council with the participation of Direktoriya members and UNR government entrusted “superior command on the republic’s affairs’ to Supreme Otaman Symon Petliura.”

1946. The Ukrainian SSR Council of Ministers passed a resolution to intoduce a new Ukrainian orthography.

November 16: 1924. The first radio transmission took place in Ukraine.

1991. The First All-Ukrainian International Congress was held in Odesa.

November 17: 1920. Wrangel’s army was completely defeated in the Crimea.

1993 . The Ministry of Justice registered the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. November 18: 1933. A joint plenum of the CP(b)U Central Committee and Central Control Committee examined the issue of the “Ukrainian nationalistic deviation” and ratified a decision to stop Ukrainization in the Republic as well as to punish peasants without bread by taking other foodstuffs.

1993. Verkhovna Rada ratified a treaty on reduction in the START—I strategic offensive arms.

November 19: 1871. Marko Kropyvnytsky made his debut on the professional stage in Match making at Honcharovka in Odesa.

1989. Human rights defenders Vasyl Stus, Yuri Lytvyn, and Oleksa Tykhy, who died in Soviet death camps, were reburied in Kyiv.

November 20: 1918. Russian Soviet troops invaded Ukraine.

1927. At the CP(b)U X Congress Trotskyism and Shumskyism (a so-called nationalistic deviation) were condemned.
