This year’s GOGOLFEST is the first ever to include a robust environmental awareness program. The organizers explain that its purpose is to launch a long-term project which will combine educational efforts with practical solutions aimed at furthering environment-friendly development. The program’s partners include organizations and companies concerned with environment-friendly production technologies, energy efficiency, greenscaping, healthy eating, sports, etc. The project will welcome new participants at every stage.

It was no accident that the environmental awareness program’s supporters took to the streets in a bicycle ride, because cyclists and rollers are naturally inclined to support the environment-friendly way of life. The program involves laying out of cycling paths in the GOGOLFEST’s area and holding roundtables on the capital’s cycling development issues. All participants of the ride will get free access to the festival, while the cycling event’s partners will be officially listed as the program’s partners, too. Their logos will be placed on its banners and posters, as well as T-shirts to be presented to the ride’s participants. Moreover, the partner logos will be displayed as a separate installation, shaped as a huge environmental graffiti painted with green moss on a wall.
