A health rehabilitation center for the participants of the anti-terrorist operation is to be created on the basis of the municipal hospital for war invalids and veterans in Kherson oblast, state the addenda to the Draft Program for Economic, Social, and Cultural Development of Kherson Oblast for 2017.
The implementation of the project is scheduled for 2017-18 and will cost 17,407,000 hryvnias. Overall, 5,157,000 hryvnias are earmarked for the Rehabilitation Center for next year, with 4,600,000 covered by state and 515,000 by the oblast. These funds will be spent on capital renovation of the physiotherapy building and to purchase state-of-the-art therapeutic and diagnostic medical equipment. The hospital wants to create facilities to treat and rehabilitate a minimum of 1,000 persons a year.
The Program for Economic, Social, and Cultural Development is to be approved by the legislators of the oblast council at the next session on December 23.
