On Friday at noon an exposition of 170 best pictures from the international photo contest Den-2015 will open at the Museum “Old Fleet Barracks” (29 Naberezhna Street). Mykolaiv will be the first city after Kyiv to see the view of top professional photographers and amateurs on the year that is coming to an end. Another important bonus from Den: the Editor-in-Chief Larysa Ivshyna “detached” an editorial team to the south of Ukraine: the authors of this year’s opinion-journalism triptych (“The Trap”; I, an Eyewitness, and Catastrophe and Triumph) Ivan Kapsamun, Valentyn Torba, and Maria Semenchenko, who will present their bestsellers. The meeting of the authors with the “living forces” of Mykolaiv will start at 3 p.m. at Hmyriov Oblast Universal Scientific Library (9 Moskovska Street).Everyone willing will be able to buy our books during the events, as well as subscribe to the newspaper. The editorial office prepared these intellectual presents dedicated to St. Nicholas Day for Mykolaiv at the invitation of the city’s mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, with the assistance of Ukrainian MP Taras Kremen, and the head of the College of Press and Television, General Producer of TAK TV Hlib Holovchenko.
