Look out of the window, and you see the fall dominate the city, with its rains, yellow leaves on the pavements, and grey clouds overhead. What you want the most in this season is to get warm. Isn’t it wonderful to wrap a warm plaid around yourself, or slip into your favorite sweater, take a cup of tea, cocoa, or coffee and a book? No rain or wind can upset you then. And on top of it, if you are a lucky owner of a fireplace, you can enjoy the cracking of wood and the flicker of the flames. But even if you cannot enjoy the warmth in this manner, there are lifehacks and little secrets which will keep you cozy and make you happy. For instance, a fashionable warm scarf or a cool thermo mug designed by Den. We actually open the new fall and winter season with a wonderful and variegated action “Warm with Den.” It means that very soon you can order the items designed by Den’s artist Anna Havryliuk: scarves, thermos mugs, cards, and stickers, which will soon appear on our website. There will also be our traditional “warm actions”: it is the highest time to take care of those who desperately need warmth, physical and spiritual: the troops, displaced, and homeless persons. Last year we held weekly actions collecting warm clothes and signing cards for our troops at the front, as well as for the refugees who were caught by the winter far from their homes. This year we will continue doing it. In one of its following issues Den/The Day is going to print a map with the locations where you can bring warm clothing and footwear for different target groups. We will also speak with the volunteers who take care of this kind of work, and let our readers know our further agenda. So, do not miss a chance to share warmth with others and keep yourself warm, too. Let this fall be warm, stylish, and filled with kindness.
