Where there is no law, but every man does what is right in his own eyes, there is the least of real liberty

Borovychok: age is a heavy burden

3 April, 2012 - 00:00

He plodded slowly along a street, keeping his head down.

He was probably trying to somehow determine where to look for his lost master.

It was snowing quietly, and he was feeling hungry, cold, and very uncomfortable.

Someone fed him a few sausages, somebody gave him a little kefir to drink.

Having satisfied his hunger to an extent and not seeing where to go, an old blind dog laid down in the snow near some garages.

It is difficult to guess how he got on the street, that is, was he abandoned or lost.

Now pit-bull Borovychok, as he has been called by the volunteers, is being treated at a clinic and has already underwent tests.

Of course, treatment of old age is still unavailable, but he needs help to keep going.

Attempts to find his master failed, so we are more and more inclined to believe that the old dog was really abandoned.

Volunteers have taken him off the street, but the dog still has nowhere to live, being kept in pet clinics on sufferance of their operators.

We earnestly hope that a kind person will come forward and take the old pit-bull home to allow him to live out his days there.

If you feel compassionate and touched by Borovychok’s story, please call the dog’s curator Hanna at (067) 734-44-75.
