Aided by Lviv’s Directorate for Euro-2012 Information and Promotion, FC Lviv has organized a graffiti festival at the local Sokil stadium. Nearly two dozen young Ukrainian artists have decorated the huge 144-by-3-meter fence of the club’s stadium with soccer-related images.
The club’s administration was not afraid to experiment. The graffiti include stylized images promoting Euro-2012 in Lviv and the logos of the club and the city. Now the stadium, which, hopefully, will be used in the Euro-2012 championship, indeed looks cool. The first ones to evaluate the young artists’ creations will be the club’s fans attending the game between the FC Lviv and Dynamo Kyiv junior squads.
