He was roaming around the city’s suburbs, near summer cottages, in the places of dogs’ unhappiness, where people throw thousands of animals into the streets, without a tiny bit of mercy.
Alone, unwanted, refused by everyone, he was huge, so people did not want to let him, nor did any pack of strays wanted to accept him. November came, and it was getting colder with every coming day. The chances to survive got even smaller.
Fortunately, the dog caught volunteers’ eye. They came to take him from the street, but could not find him anywhere.
The hard destiny of a dog, however, favored Gross: he was found at the last minute in a pit full of leaves, the dog was so exhausted that he easily fit into it.
Care and good breeding did their good. From an emaciated old dog Gross turned from into a young, healthy large-sized beauty. Now this is a wonderful dog, a proud one, aware of his strength.
He still remains a puppy: he likes to play, jump, and caper, and he will adore his future owner in the same way, with childish delight. He has been sterilized and undergone a fundamental training.
All he needs now is responsible owners, who love large breeds and are able to maintain them. Finally, Gross has one more peculiar feature: he makes people fall in love with him right away.
