The training of the operative reserve of the 25th Airborne Brigade continues in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, as reported at the website of the Ministry of Defense. During the training, paratrooper artillery regimens exercise in firing the standard armament. In particular, they fired at ground and air targets, as well as exercised at setting up illumination at night.

“Reserved soldiers are trained well,” says the battery commander. “By their combat training one can immediately see who had served in the Airborne. All of them have the desire to learn, many are planning to continue their military service in the Airborne after the training.”

In turn, the “winged infantry” of the consolidated storm trooper squad practiced in capturing the bridge, in order to provide further movement to other brigade units by water and by land.

The military performed the landing without parachutes, by means of Adapter-M1 system from a Mi-8 helicopter.

In addition, in the two days of training, the soldiers of the operational reserve at 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade performed a parachute jump from a Mi-8 helicopter.

Before jumping, the soldiers completed the theoretical and practical training program. The reservists studied the construction of the parachute and the relevant equipment, assembled main and reserve parachutes. In order to gain practical skills, they practiced skydiving elements at the airborne complex.

During the sessions, reservists had alongside them experienced officers and qualified instructors of the airborne service, who controlled every stage of the assembly and provided professional assistance.
