According to the band’s Facebook page, the event is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of DakhaBrakha. As the organizers say, DakhaBrakha is a long-term experiment in the field of human soul cosmology, which is based on the beliefs of our ancestors, the chaos theory and the metaphysics of folk songs across the world. From these pillars, fused with the desire to make not only conscious, but also spiritual music, emerges a unique style of DakhaBrakha, forming a new epic.
Previously, the band performed at many theatrical festivals as a part of Dakh Theater. In 2006 DakhaBrakha released its debut album Goodnight, featuring 18 tracks. Anatolii Soroka and Anton Matviichuk were the sound engineers for this work, which was followed by Yahudky and On the edge. The magical music of DakhaBrakha enamors not only the amateurs of Ukrainian folk, but also those who never had the notion they might like such a genre.
