Mr. Halasa amazed me when we first met. Looking at him, I wondered how this man could be the same one who had spent so much time in bunkers and then in prison. Then I saw his eyes, the same as in that well-known photo dating from 1942. Orlan (his underground resistance alias, meaning sea eagle)...
