The “Treasures of Tibet” – is the only travelling exhibition in our country that introduces the cultural heritage of the Himalayan region to Ukrainians. According to the organizers, the exhibition is updated constantly. Nowadays the Ukrainian House displays about 300 items collected by enthusiasts and private collectors. The exhibition features sculptures and masks made of metal, wood and plaster, thangkas, musical instruments, embroidery, woodcuts, ethnic jewelry, and many other household and ritual items. Thus, the exhibits include unique artwork made in the workshops and monasteries of India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, and the photos reflect different aspects of life and culture of Tibetans.
