Rearmament of the Ukrainian army continues

Since the start of ATO, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s technicians have restored to operation over 30,800 units of weaponry and military equipment

In recent weeks, Ukrainian military units serving on missions in the ATO area received from state enterprises 8 units of electronic equipment for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, 46 motor vehicles, 100 observation and sighting devices, 4 electronic warfare devices, an upgraded fixed-wing aircraft, and 135,000 rockets and ammunition units, the Ministry of Defense reports on its website.

State enterprises have also repaired nine military vehicles, including infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled howitzers.

Meanwhile, repair and restoration teams of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) returned for combat missions in the ATO area 300 units of armament and military equipment, including tanks, anti-aircraft guns, howitzers, cannons, anti-tank missile launchers, mortars, rocket launchers, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, as well as 201 motor vehicles.

Thus, since the beginning of the ATO, technicians of the AFU helped to restore over 30,800 units of weaponry and military equipment, including 1,528 units restored at state defense industry enterprises.

Military representative offices of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine ensure effective fulfillment of state defense orders by domestic enterprises, institutions, and organizations.

So far in 2015, they have checked quality of repair and manufacturing and accepted for the use of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine defense products valued at 4,107 million hryvnias. Providing these services brought nearly 11.7 million hryvnias to the special fund account of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
