This is a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with the authors and compilers of the publicist triptych, learn how these books were written, and what was left behind the scenes, as well as why these publications should be read today, especially by journalists. The meetings will take place in the classrooms of the Zaporizhia National University that invited Den to visit the city. The South-Ukrainian Center of Media Education has been functioning on the basis of the journalism department of this university. It appeared as a response to present-day challenges: Zaporizhia oblast is in a sense a frontline region and faces the risk of at least information attacks, if not a physical invasion. This makes the communication of the authors and compilers of the new books published by Den with the students, who are going to be journalists, even more important. For us today it is of utmost importance to take an active part in shaping of a new generation of thinking journalists with clear life and professional guidelines.
The meeting will be attended by the author of the book “The Trap,” or A Case without a Statute of Limitations Ivan Kapsamun, the author of the book I, an Eyewitness. Notes from the Occupied Luhansk Valentyn Torba, and the compiler of the book Catastrophe and Triumph. Histories of Ukrainian Heroes Maria Semenchenko.
